Terres Basses, St. Martin
Terres Basses or Low Lands – the area of the multimillionaire properties
Terres Basses on French St. Martin, also called Low Lands, is the peninsula, where a high density of multi-million properties are located. It is a gated residential community without restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities. Most rental villas are a bit away from the beachfront. Only very few condos are available for rent.

Three beaches frame the peninsula. Long Bay to the south, Plum Bay to the west and Baie Rouge to the north. The east is bordering the Simpson Bay lagoon. See more about these beaches. Terres Basses can be reached from Marigot and Nettle Bay (French side) or from the Cupecoy area (Dutch side).
